At JKH QUARTER HORSES, our objective is to breed (produce) premium quality prospects, which are confirmationally correct and abnormally trainable.  We have compiled a select group of mares to cross and compliment our stallion, Plain Special. Collectively we have some 45 years of horse training behind us; we have trained numorous pro level equine athletes as well as many Futurity and Derby winners.

We provide all stages of education for the equine student. Jeremy specializes in colt starting and arena event horses (team roping , steer wrestling and calf roping). We believe a horse has a better chance of being successful if he is broke in all aspects of Ranch work , Reining, Western Dressage and speed control. We put all our equine students in pressure situations so as they will learn at a young age to deal with pressure. We only progress as the horse is ready... and really focus on gaining foundation, foundation foundation.

We attempt to get all horses bridle broke, COLLECTED and BALANCED. Each horse is introduced to a number of 'props' (rope, cattle, hot heels, ponying, roping boxes , desert/parture rides, trails and usually barrels). It is singularily our goal to bring out the optimum potential in each and every horse we come into contact with! We strive for honesty, integrity and excellence in every aspect of our business.
